Electrolux Kitchen Appliances - Opinions???

Hello from the U.S.! Apparently Electrolux has been selling kitchen appliances in the UK for many years while they've only been selling vacuums in the U.S.! I had no idea. Any opinions on the quality, durability, etc. of their kitchen appliances? Thanks!

Electrolux I believe started in Scandanavia and is a very large multinational company which not only sells it's products under the Electrolus name but also under well known names as Zanussi, Frigidaire, Kelvinator, Tricity Bendix, AEG and many more.

They make most kitchen appliances - cookers, washing machines, dishwaters, dryers, air conditioning, fridges, freezers and much more

I would say they are about average on reliability and quality. AEG branded appliances are probably slightly better, (as are most of the German brands like MIELE, SIEMENS and SMEG - although you pay for what you get!).

I have had an AEG/Electrolux (as it's branded on the front) built-in front load washer for around 18months and I love it! It has loads of flexibility in it's programming and I have had no reliability faults yet - it's hardly old though.
