:pinkbounc :pinkbounc Can you tell me if the parade is going on 2nd week in April. Is there reserved seating---something like a picnic theme? I sort of remember something from our last trip. If this is so is it worth the extra money? PattyN

We did this in October. It was about $40 a person(adult) so it cost us $80. We got one tray of cold cuts(ham, proscuitto and fancy cold cuts, not turkey, ham, salami etc.) and cheese (swiss and other soft and flavored varieties we had never had) and one baquette of bread. You got one glass of wine or a soft drink per person. This was definitely not for a picky eater. They had a bag on the table with silverware, napkins and one chocolate for the two of us. Anything else you wanted was more money. The view was from the winery where the tables overlook the main drag.

in our opinion, it was not worth the money. If they have changed how this is run then maybe it would be worth it depending on the season and the crowds. For the Best Coast meet we got a space right below where the reserved seating was for us in October. I think you get a better view from being level with the parade rather than being above it looking down and if you don't get the front tables next to the railing I don't think you would see much of the parade.

I suggest calling and asking exactly what you get served and how they do it per person if you really want to do this. Otherwise, just stake out a spot near a bench there are plenty lining the route at certain spots. Send someone to get snacks and have your own party.

Have fun on your trip.
