I've read that DCL will "confiscate" certain items that are not allowed on board (e.g. personal irons, power strips, etc). Has anyone brought a mini-glue gun on board? Was just trying to determine if I should risk bringing my little glue gun to finish gluing some of our costume head pieces together that we wanted to wait until last second to do (they won't pack so well on the way there). TIA!

As a glue gun is a small, but very hot heat source, I would bet it would not be allowed. No sense in circumventing the rules as they are to protect the ship and its passengers from fire.

Another vote to leave the gun at home... might look bad in the scanners too.

I wonder if something from the kitchen can be substituted for glue. Perhaps honey or dried ketchup?

E6000 is amazing stuff, but the fumes are pretty nasty. It might not be great in a tiny stateroom with minimum ventilation.

E6000 and super glue also melts some fabrics, like melts holes in them, so depending on what you are gluing they may ruin it before they help. If your fabric has any rayon/plastic in it some glues will melt the fabric.
