Electrical Parade - Still enforcing blankets?

Watch the second show. I found a great place near Small World where I could sit. Across from Storybook. We snagged that spot about 30 minutes before parade started. Note that this spot is at the end of the parade route for the second viewing, and it takes about 15 minutes to show up.

Depending on where you want to sit, maybe right after fireworks, but it's nowhere near as busy for the second parade. You can find a good spot like 30 minutes before the show for sure. Perhaps near the front of the park or by Small World. During the second parade we've walked up and found a good standing spot while it was already in progress.

So we went last night. We entered the park around 6:45, Main Street was already pretty much lined up. Didn't see but maybe one or two unattended blankets. Decided we would watch the second parade. About 10:15 - 10:30 walked down Main Street and it was about 90% full. We found a spot in the hub closet to entrance to sit on the curb and watch. Only had to wait a few minutes.

If you can stay late, the 2nd parade is a much better option. Thanks, to those who stated so!

I was there last night. No blankets were left unattended on Main Street that I could see. People were allowed to sit at curb at 6:30. Curb area filled up quickly- definitely before 7 (for sitting room). Standing room didn't fill up until closer to 7:45 (ish). We also saw the parade a few days ago and they actually had annanncoucsment over the loud speaker saying that all available viewing spaces were filled!!! This is my first time at DL. I never heard anything like that at DW.

I wonder what they analyze before playing that message. They played it when I saw the parade about two weeks ago and there were still a few spaces where I was, and the message didn't deter people from still squeezing themselves into certain areas lol.
