Hey all,

I am going to be at DL Sept. 14-18 (Sunday to Thursday) and I think that the only day the fireworks and parade will be held is on Sunday. (Am I correct?)

After reading some posts on doing both in one evening, I have decided to go with seeing just one. SO.....which one should I see and why? It's just me as I am there for a convention. (Hubby and kids will get some great pins though).

THANKS!;)

fireworks the parade is good but if I picked 1 it would be fireworks

I would pick the parade only because I travel with a 3 1/2 year old who hates fireworks. If I could pick for myself, I would pick the fireworks..they look incredible!:wizard:

Hard choice ! But I would also pick the fireworks.

With that said, if you are traveling by yourself you are pretty nimble.......you could carefully pick a parade spot, and scoot over quickly to DL. Use the stores to navigate Main st crowds, and again with needing just a spot for 1 you could work your way up to a nice viewing area.

Fireworks hands down. The parade is fun if you have time, but the fireworks from the hub are a must do.

The Sept entertainment calendar hasn't been released, but here is a link for Sept 2007:

We won't know until the official Sept entertainment hours are released, but right now it doesn't look like the Electrical Parade or the fireworks will be shown on that Sunday night. :worried: The Electrical Parade usually goes dark after Labor Day.

But... Fantasmic should be shown at 9:00 p.m. on that Sunday night! :wizard:

Thats what i was gonna post aswell.... I've heard that the eletric parade doesn't run after labour day..... I know it doesn't run in october because my grandma really wanted to see it last year but didn't get to becasue it wasn't running..... Next time we go we will probley go with our first day being labour day just so grandma can see the parade!!

I love the electrical parade, but it's showing it's age. I think Remember Dreams Come True is the most outstanding fireworks show I've ever seen(and I used to attend the largest 4th of July fireworks show in the country.

As I rank them:

1. Remember Dreams Come True.
1a. Believe in Holiday Magic.
3. Illuminations at Epcot.

We love the Electrical Parade. It really appeals to kids, too.

We've been able to watch the parade, then we headed over to DL and caught the fireworks, too. Lots of people do this since the two parks are so close to each other.

I agree with the fireworks as well.. Best firework show, ever.

So, would you say fireworks are definitely not to be missed?

As of right now, we're going M-F Nov. 10-15th, but if there aren't fireworks during the week, maybe I should move our trip to Tuesday-Saturday..

IF they have the fireworks, I think I'll catch that one.

I am not good at being swift or fighting crowds so I will stick to just really enjoying one of them.

Thanks

I always watch the fireworks, and I've seen them quite a few times. I :lovestruc them. They really pull a heart string to the true Disneyland lover.. But that's my opinion.

If you want to move your dates for them you can, maybe get some more opinions from other Dis'ers instead of just mine.

If you want to check them out before hand try youtube.

Hopefully someone else can give you their opinions too!

The fireworks shows are NOT to be missed. With a November trip, you'll probably get Believe in Holiday Magic instead of Remember Dreams Come True, but both shows are absoultely spectacular. Believe is the only fireworks show I've seen that approaches Remember.
