Forgive me if this is not the correct place to ask this....but last time I was at the parks my phone would go dead before we were finished at the parks. We are getting ready to go again and I was wondering if people have places that they have used to charge their phones up at each park??

TIA!! :thanks:

I have found outlets near pretty much most of the seating where you can eat. Both indoors and outdoors. I try to charge every time we eat.

I own a portable charger to plug my phone into when the battery starts getting low. Each one is a little different, but mine charges an extra 50% battery life. It's really great! It's called a Halo, but there are tons of different kinds out there. I highly recommend it!

I totally agree with this.....no more searching for external plugs to plug your phone into. Invest about $30-$50 on a solid USB port Portable Battery Pack. For long Disney Trips....and most any trip....it's the best travel item that you will ever buy.

there are two charging stations in the magic kingdom that i'm aware of. there's a few stations at the new tangled bathrooms, and there's some in storybook circus, where dumbo and the barnstormer's fp- machines are (were?). they were definitely the most useful when i realized i hadn't brought my portable charger on my last trip. :)

Well... when we were there 2 weeks ago, people were using the outlets in the restrooms.

I can definitely vouch for the small portable chargers. We have one we got as a freebie somewhere, and it will fully charge (from 0 to 100 percent) an iPhone 5.

There is also an entire wall of charging ports at Space Mountain. That is on the back wall of the space mountain gift shop.

We use a portable charger though. It is a red reach argali battery pack I believe the brand is Moxie, I've been using it for over a year and it still works really well.

Some of the gift shops at the different parks sell a similar one. I needed to purchase one while I was at AK (both my camera and phone died!), It came with the batteries AND the a micro USB cord and an iphone cord for like $15. It charged my phone to almost 90% in a couple of hours. It's about the size of a very fat iPhone. I threw it in my purse it was great...

I noticed that area when I went in last summer to play the Donkey Kong machine. There are a LOT of charging ports along that wall, so if there is any concern whatever about finding an available port, the Space Mountain gift shop is an excellent choice. Good A/C in there, too.

Can't remember if all the legacy FP machines were plugged in to regular outlets or not but once they take those out there will be LOTS of outlets to use! ;)

Another option is to go to amazon and buy an extra phone battery and a wall charger for it. At at total cost of under $20.00 for most phones, you can easily put an extra battery in a sandwich ziploc bag and take it with you to the park. At night, if you used it, charge the extra battery in your room on the wall charger while charging the phone as usual. No need to waste time in the parks charging batteries.

For under $10.00 per battery, I bought two and the wall charger and bring one or both extras to the park each day depending on how much I plan to use my phone. If I have to make some calls for work, I bring both extra batteries. If not, I just bring one extra as I've never burned down two batteries in one park day without making a lot of calls.
