Electric water parade

We are going to be eating at Bomas at AKL at about 6:15 in September. The parks close at 8:00 that night, so we thought we would try to see the Electric Water Parade. Is it worth seeking out? Where is the best place to go from dinner at AKL? Thought this would be better that trying to rush and catch the MK fireworks and something different too.

Where are you staying? We love to watch it from the dock of GF or the beach at FW/WL.

What we always liked to say about the parade was that it was a nice bonus. I think, though, that folks who rush or in any way go out of their way to see it are sometimes disappointed. It's not earth-shakingly amazing or anything like that. What's most remarkable about it is that they do it -- that, from the standpoint of the folks who are staying at those resorts, they can just take a few steps out of their hotel room, perhaps just onto their balcony, and see it.

Some folks will like it better than that, and some folks not even that much.

We stayed at Fort Wilderness last week and we watched it from the beach. It was very nice. I enjoyed it. AFterwards we got to see the fireworks from MK. My kids enjoyed the parade they thought it was cool to see animals floating on the water. I enjoyed the America tribute they did afterwards.
