Can anyone give me info. about Electric Water Parade? Is it worth seeing? What are the times? Is it every night? Where can you go to view? We are eating at O'Hana's one night, can you view from there?

Here are the times as posted on allearsnet.com. We enjoy it. I think you can see it from O'hanas, but we usually watch from Poly beach.

Polynesian Resort -- 9 p.m.
Grand Floridian -- 9:15 p.m.
Wilderness Lodge -- 9:35 p.m.
Fort Wilderness -- 9:45 p.m.
Contemporary Resort -- 10:05 p.m.
Magic Kingdom -- 10:20 p.m. (only during extended MK park
hours)

Note that when the Magic Kingdom Fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m., the Electrical Water Pageant runs about 7-20 minutes later.

My favorite saying about these things comes for Hawkeye on the old MASH TV show.

"Its not much, but its really nothing."

And, although I never MISS seing it... inappropriate "over-anticipation" can be built up over the "Electrical Water Pageant".

People seem to be expecting to see "Spectromagic on the water", when it is really closer to oversized "Lite Brite" pegs mounted on some barges,

with a "Casio Keyboard" music track.

Don't get me wrong, I still love it, but first-timers, please don't get your hopes set too HIGH.

it's really awesome to see! you should catch it from either the beach at FW campgrounds or a boat from MK back to your resort.

OK, (again, I do "love" this little show) but "really awesome" can cause folks who have NOT seen it to EXPECT a "major show"...

Please understand where I'm coming from...
Walt Disney, himself, always cautioned his staff to UNDER-promise and OVER-deliver.

That's why I try to explain that this show is "cute and light-hearted" but its not what MOST folks would call "AWESOME."

That's reserved for productions like Spectromagic, Illuminations and Fantasmic!

The EWP is the OLDEST "evening attraction" at WDW (and its technology is still at 1970's level).
Its a bit of history.
And its a nice little show. :thumbsup2

It's pretty mellow, actually. Worth getting out of your room for, but not a reason to cancel your Spectromagic reservations . . .

That's the idea.

As Cogsworth said to Beast, "Gently, GENTLY."

I wouldn't arrange my evening around it. It's neat to see if you happen to be leaving MK when it goes by or (if you're staying at a MK resort) to hop out of the pool for a quick viewing. It's one of those Disney entertainments that's much more special if you just happen upon it.
