Electric Water Parade

Does anyone know if we are staying at PO/R which resort is the best to view the water parade? And then where do you view it from at that resort? Is it worth the trip to see this? This is our 4th year in a row at WDW and we're trying to find new thigs to do, any suggestions? Thanks

The Electrical Water Pageant can only be seen at Polynesian Resort (9 pm watch from the beach) Grand Floridian 9:15 pm, Wilderness Lodge 9:35pm, Ft Wilderness 9:45pm & the Contemporary Resort at 10pm. Its really short, so you can't be late, but I love it,this was the first nitetime Disney parade we saw. You can have dinner at one of these resorts & go down to the beach at the appropriate time. Be aware that it will be cancelled not only in rain but in windy conditions so might want to check first.

On our last trip we watched the Electric Light Parade from the dock at the Polynesian. We did not stay at Poly, but we went to MK until about an hour and a half before the parade. We rode the ferry over, which was nice because it was dark by then and cool outside. We visited the quick service food counter at Poly and ordered a late dinner. We took the food outside and ate while we waited. The parade was really short, but it was a fun and relaxing way to end an evening. Afterwards, we walked over to the TTC and caught our bus back to SOG. Have fun!!
