I have one very picky eater, she always has been, so these are my 2 choices for counter service in epcot. What are you opinions on these restaurants?
The menus typically look the same, but is the food better at one of them. If it's the same, is the atmosphere better at one of them? Thanks!:goodvibes

My advice is to go to the one that you are closest to the day you are at Epcot. They are on opposite sides of the park, and by the time you would walk to the one you wanted to eat at, you may have some very cranky people with you. They both have basically the same food.

I agree. I wouldn't cross the park for either of them. Just go to the one you are closest to at the time.:thumbsup2

I have a picky one too...Liberty Inn. The chicken strips were actually pretty good here. And it's close to other dining options the more adventurous eaters will like. Our family has sworn off EU forever, ugh.

Thanks, yeah i guess we will end up going to the one we are closest too, i didn't realize how far apart they were:goodvibes

We've eaten at both, not much difference, IMO. I'd go to whichever one is closest.

Last May we were trying to get to Liberty Inn but once we reached it, found out it was closed for refurbishment. It was approaching Illuminations time and as we looped around World Showcase, everything was jammed. So we went all the way around to Electric Umbrella. It was actually pretty good - we didn't have high expectations. I had a cheeseburger and DH had the double cheeseburger which he shared with DS. Plus, we ended up just walking out of the place, walking up to the Lagoon just over the bridge and having a great spot to watch Illuminations - then were able to get out of the park pretty quick afterwards.

There's a new wrinkle that makes them not at all the same: Electric Umbrella is the only place in the parks with self-service soda refills :)

I have heard better at the umbrella than liberty we had a terrible lunch there I retuned my food 2 time and my daughters food was rotten and raw we would never go back we have had so much better
