Are gas and/or electric powered scooters allowed at the Fort? I know in the past we have brought an electric powered scooter (think moped without the pedals). When I called to ask at the Front Desk a minute ago they said no w 2 wheeled scooters are allowed period. I tried to confirm she meant the kind you sit on vs. the skateboard type with the handle, but she was adamant that it means ALL. Of course she also said that personal golf carts aren't allowed and we all know that isn't true :confused3 She said they rent electric golf carts, but no gas powered carts are on property :lmao: So can someone who has a clue please let me know?

We have an electric scooter and we have a gas powered one that is like a smallish motorcycle (registered to be ridden on the road)

Thanks for all your wisdom.

I think(uh oh) that its a written rule that no 2 wheeled motorized contraptions are allowed, but there were tons of them last month....and I mean ALOT of them, and people would lock them up at the golf cart parking spots...so, much like many other Disney rules...its apparently not enforced at all. I have never heard that personal carts arent allowed...that would make the fourth of July Golf Cart parade pretty boring!!!

That's what I thought. It's amazing how the rules are interpreted and how they aren't enforced anyway :rotfl:

I'm thinking the gas powered one might not be a good idea, but my Dad seems to think that he NEEDS to bring it :confused3

We rode these around FW sidewalks the last two years and have never been questioned. :moped:

Brad...those are too cool!!!! I bet I could come up with some tacky customizing for it too!!!!

What??? I LIKE tacky....cant ya tell by my golf cart?? Thats as tacky as ya can get!!!!!

Thank you.

Electric Bicycle/scooter yes

Gas powered Motorcycle type scooter on roads only :thumbsup2

That makes perfect sense. Exactly what I was telling my family, but now I have it in writing ::yes::

Might want to look at the last two sections where gas scooters and dirt/mini motorcycles are not permitted even on the roads.

These are the rules. We will see more enforcement of the rules over the 4th July weekend, but if it is not a holiday weekend they just let people be unless they are doing thing that are unsafe or people complain.
