Electric kettle for room making of tea

In my experience, no. You used to be able to brew hot water with the older coffee makers but with the newer k-pod type machines, you can brew a cup of tea with the pod tea that’s provided (at least I think it was provided, if not you can order the tea). I’m sure if there’s. Jack to just brewing hot water, someone will chime in. Your other option is to bring your own electric kettle or order from Amazon, etc for delivery to the resort.

I bring my own travel kettle from the UK, it takes an age to boil (because of the lower voltage) but worth the wait. Can't do without my morning cuppas. We also bring our own teabags, the selection in the room tended to be camomile, earl grey, peppermint etc, which is not suitable.

I just use the coffee pot in the room without a coffee pod, then use the tea bag ~ my room has always had a variety of tea bags or I've picked up more at the food court.

As to if they will provide ~ highly doubtful since they provide a maker already in the room.

We do the same from Australia, bring a very cheap kettle, and throw it out when we leave and use the space in bag for souvenirs. I agree it takes ages to boil, I use it as my snooze button. Just nap a bit waiting for it to boil for morning cuppa. We have stayed at a lot of resorts, none had a kettle, and most of the coffee machines were not the type to do good boiling water.
