Electric Cooler and Bell Services

Hi all! We travel with one of the electric coolers that plugs in to the cig lighter and also a regular outlet. I also travel with meds that need to stay cold and always bring milk and other perishables.

If we arrive around 7:00 a.m. and our room is not ready will Bell Services plug in our cooler till our room is ready?

I can't leave it in the car for 2 reasons...1) our battery would shut it off once the battery got so low and 2) The cooler only cools to 30 degrees less then the outside temp. So if the car got up to the hundreds it would only be 70 in the cooler.

Hi Sneezy 1956,

I would expect that you'd be given assistance to keep your meds cool, whether they plug in your own cooler, or put them in a frig at the resort. We've had varying success with cold groceries when transferring rooms, but medication is different.

Your best bet is to call the resort concerned and ask this question... I bet you'll get the answer you want.

Thanks! I was planning on faxing or calling just before we leave so I'll go ahead and do that. I know they will hold my meds with no problem but I also need the gallon of milk kept cold

My 17 yr old teenager drinks milk by the gallon's not by the glass
