Hi!
It's been a while since I've been here!
I'm shopping for another vacation.....no, not WDW this time.
We're going to be at a house, on a lake, in Ontario for a week.
Anyway, I found some things that might be helpful to fellow Budget Boarders:
After passing up $10-$12 small (6-8 oz) bottles of sunscreen at my local drugstores I was happy to find "No-Ad" and Banana Boat on sale (?-or maybe their regular price) at Walmart for $5.97. I got big 12oz. bottle of the No-Ad.
I always hate to pack the heavy boxes of auto-dishwashing detergent. This time I found Electrasol Geltabs on sale For $1.84 (half price, plus I had a $1 coupon!) at my local Shop-Rite. I just packed 10 tabs for the week in a ziploc and it took up so much less room and much lighter.
Lastly, here is a tip for those super-tightwads like me: So much product seems to be remaining in those tube-type bottles of sunscreen. I was trying to add what was left to another bottle. Shaking it down and squeezing it through the top took forever. Then I got this idea-- I cut the crimped bottom off. Out it came! I was amazed to find that there was about 2 full applications (for my 3 yr old, anyway) worth of sunscreen left in that bottle!
For those of you with WDW trips coming up--HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!!
I'm GREEN
with envy!
