El Pirata y el Perico - is it open now?

Hello. Does anyone know if El Pirata y el Perico is currently open? We will be in the Magic Kingdom on Monday (yea!) and this looks like a good place to pick up something quick. I saw somewhere that it is only open seasonally. Anyone have any info? Thanks!

At this time it is boarded off and appears to be under some kind of refurbishment.

When you say "now" I think the answer could change from "right this minute" to "later today". I sure wouldn't bet on it being open.

Rumor is, that it's closed and will no longer be El Pirata y El Perico. And will change to a Tortuga theme. Also, in the 20+ times i've been to Disney i've seen this place open maybe twice. Their food is actually kinda good, minus the plastic cheese.

It was closed as of this past Friday night (Oct 23rd). We were there all last week and it was closed off and had the tarps up the whole time.
