El Pirata y el Perico....how will I know if you are ever open?!?

Granted, we usually go in colder months (December or January, due to hubby's work). But we'll be there in 3 weeks, and I am dying to eat at this elusive restaurant - it's the whole "wanting something you can't have" I suppose So does anyone know....is it open now, and what is the likelihood of it being open mid-June?

It was open every day we were at MK this past week (Saturday the 15th, Tuesday the 18th, Friday the 21st) but closed early on all those days (4 pm I think). It was listed in the Times Guide in the section for things that have different hours than the rest of the park.

I'd say your odds are good for mid-June.

i'm hoping it's open in late June for our trip! we never get to eat there, and i think it might be a nice change from the usual (especially for our kids).

When it is open, it is open during lunch hours...11AM - 3 or 4PM. We usually get there right around 11 when we are finishing up our tour of the MK.

We finally got to go in March and loved it! We ended up going twice... we are headed down again in June and have to keep reminding myself NOT to book a lunch ADR for MK so we can go again. Enjoy!

And yes, for us it was open like opp said... 11-3 or 4

Interestingly, I think it's NOT open on the super, super busy days. We were in MK on on 12/21 (I think) and ate there. It was busy but not crazy busy. But then on 12/28, we were in MK again, and it was closed. That day MK closed to crowds at about 11:00, and it was insanely busy.

During my 10 or so trips I am not sure that i have ever seen it open. When we went in 2007 we got our food at Pecos Bill and walked up the hallway and ate at the tables there.

In 8 trips, it was only open once and that was in March 2008.

Saw it was open two Saturday's ago and wanted to try it but already had LTT ADRs for lunch and it closed at 4pm so I did not get to eat a parrot.
