Does anyone know if this restaurant is open the week before Christmas? Can't miss out on the veggie tacos!!

I saw pictures today on another website of work being currently done on the restaurant. Hopefully, it will be open for your Christmas vacation since it 'operates seasonally.' I love this place and it never seems to be open when I'm there!

We were at Disney the first two weeks of October and it was closed for refurbishment and it was covered with tarps. It was noted on the Times Guide too. There was no mention of when they intend re-opening there. Perhaps if we know what they are doing with it right now we may be able to guess, but I have no idea.

You are right......they seem to never be open when we are there in May or April or early December.......

They are only open during the busiest times of the year, and then a VERY short window, sometimes only 11:30 am to 1:30 or 2. The Times guide when you enter the park is your best bet not to miss it.

There appears to be no rhyme or reason to when this one opens. It really is a coin flip.

I just don't understand why they don't keep it open all the time since it uses up the space either way.

Of course, using that logic, Sounds Dangerous would be open too and we wouldn't want that.

In all our years of going to WDW and we had never seen it open...then it was this past August!!!! DH was thrilled to try it...except it was just too flipping HOT and no one was hungry... so yet another year goes by and we have yet to experience it.

It was open when we were there in late April and early June last year. Also when we were there in July this year. I love the taco salad!

Of course, using that logic, Sounds Dangerous would be open too and we wouldn't want that.

Sounds Dangerous has been open for the past six weeks or so and will be operating during the entire Star Tours rehab.
