I've just seen this page on the BBC website:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/5345184.stm
In summary it says that scientists say that an El Nino event has started in the Pacific, and that has led to reduced hurricane activity - but it ends by saying that Florida will be getting wetter weather.
I hate to be selfish about this
but has anyone with past experience got an idea of the likely impact an El Nino event will have on my vacation at WDW at the end of October? Will everyday be hurricane free
, but a complete washout
?
(But being unselfish, I just hope it doesn't lead to the severe weather there was in the early eighties and late nineties - though severe weather seems to be the name of the game these days, El Nino or not.)
