Does anyone know if you can get your omelets or eggs made with either egg whites or egg substitute at POP food court? Thanks! :thumbsup2

Not sure but it is a very good question. If you don't find out before hand, I will surely find out when I go there. One problem. I don't go until June. You might want to go to the resorts page and ask that question on the Groovy Pop Century Thread.

Just bumping to see if anyone knows... :bounce:

I'm curious, too.

I'm bringing rice bread from home(I have a gluten allergy) because I just found out POP has toasters! But the egg beaters/egg substitute thing is another important factor.

Anyone know?
Anyone who's going to POP want to find out? :goodvibes

I will be there in three weeks. I will try to remember to check on this for you (and me) while there and post something when I get back from my trip.

My son and I ate the eggs every morning and I'm pretty sure that they are egg substitutes. I didn't ask anyone so I may be wrong, but they tasted like the eggs I used to eat in university and they weren't real eggs. Don't get me wrong, they were still very good or I wouldn't have eaten them every morning.

You'd be a hero to all on this thread if you remembered (and came back to post the info.). Thanks!

I'll try to remember to ask too. I'll be checking in next Friday.

Great question by the way. I never even thought about asking before. I know many of the table service places will make accomodations, just never thought about asking the food courts.

OK I jus got back. I mean literally. I haven't even been home for an hour yet. Anyway, here is what I found out. In the food court at POP, all the way to the right side, there is an ethnic style restaurant. According to the workers there, they are the only ones that will have the egg substitute or even just egg whites (without the yolks). It is something that you will have to specify when ordering, of course but that is the report. I didn't actually have the opportunity to sample the fare for breakfast this time at POP. We were always trying to beat the crowds to the parks and just never had the time.

Hope that helps!

I was at Pop over Memorial Day weekend. At the omelette station, I was able to get an omelette made with egg whites. When they reached for the carton, I thought I also saw a carton of egg substitute next to it.

(A note to anyone looking for egg whites/egg substitute as a means of knocking the fat/calories/points down -- they use quite a bit of oil in the omelette pans so you may want to ask them to cut back on that as well.)
