Does anyone know if egg substitute (like EggBeaters) or egg whites are offered anywhere?

I'm specifically wondering about the omlette station at the Boma breakfast buffet, but am curious if anyone has asked for (and received them) anywhere in WDW.

thanking in advance.
peace,
delilah

I'm guessing from the lack of replies that this isn't an option at WDW breakfasts? :confused3

I'm pretty sure it was an option at Chef Mickey's, so I would assume it would be at all the buffets, but I'd call Dining and ask them. I'm sure they'll find out for you if they don't know.

I know you can get either egg beaters or egg whites at almost all of the full service restaurants that serve breakfast. I can't think of one quick service place that I've seen it (aside from a hard boiled egg). Low cholesterol/low fat options, although improving with our every visit, as still tough to find at anything other than a full service restaurant. I agree with the above poster. If it is a big concern, give disney dining a call. They'll advise you. Also at a full service restaurant, don't be afraid to ask the waiter if you don't see any options that you want. They are usually more than happy to accomodate you, if they can. Good Luck!

I know that I asked for a egg white omlet in the crystal palace and it was delicious! I also asked for one at the hotel and it was fine.... hth!

Thanks. DH has cholesterol issues, so we'll be checking with Dining ... good idea.
He can usually find something, espeically on a buffet, but I was just curious if this option existed.
thanks again.

I am NOT an egg/red meat person at all, and I typically can do ok w/ other selections @ Disney breakfast buffets. However, I asked when making ADRs for Ohana if I can get egg beaters and any kind of turkey bacon instead (it is more family style w/ eggs and lots of meat) and they told me that it shouldn't be an issue, to just tell my server. She said that they can accomodate any diet issues.

I know it isn't the same restaurant, but hopefully that helps your question.

I've seen egg beaters & possibly egg whites as well available at counter service places that have an omelet station -- all of the food courts at the moderate and value resorts come to mind.

I get egg whites every time I go to Boma for breakfast. :) I also have not had a problem getting them at any other restaurant.
