Effexor...anyone taking this med?

It made my body feel very achy, i felt as though my body never stopped going and my insides never rested-- i would sleep-- but not really rest, ya know? I had to go off of the medication-- i couldnt handle getting onto it-- and everytime i would go up the ladder in dosage i would have to literally take an entire day just to lay around and deal with its effects ...

I appreciate all of the replies. Wow, what a plethora of differing opinions. So far, I am doing fine and came out of my funk fast. I have found that my appetite has decreased which is a good thing. With the Lexapro, eating was all I wanted to do. It has also helped my hot flashes. I am, however, quite leary of the thought of the withdrawl sx's but will deal with that at that time. I may be one of the lucky ones.
