just over a week to go now till our first trip to DLP :) :) :)

anyway, before i forget what i wanted to ask, we are staying at the Sequoia, and we wondered about towels? obviously we will bring for the pool, but what about the hotel room, are they provided? will they be refreshed?

starting to get bits together now, so just wanting to know what to bring. any ideas grateful x
things we've already thought of

- plug adapter,
- bottles for the kids to fill with juice each day
- teabags (still need travel kettle)
- things to entertain kids on eurostar
- snacks etc

any more ?x

haha just realised when i said bottles, i obviously dont mean baby bottles

Yes they provide towels and toiletries in the bathroom and will change these for you.

Don't forget Calpol and camera/phone chargers, first aid kit, baby wipes, juice to go in the bottles, sun cream (you never know!), waterproof, spare shoes, memory card, autograph book & fat pen!

Not to mention a print out of all the wonderful tips you have no doubt accumulated by now!! :goodvibes

Your comfiest shoes, all your chargers, adaptor plugs, calpol, headache tablets and plasters. Pen so you can write notes for your trip report on the back of your confirmation printout/insurance printouts :goodvibes. Suncream, sunglasses, waterproof jacket/poncho.

ahh thanks guys, have got most of those things. thats given me a few more to think about too :) xxxx

PASSPORTS....oh come on, someone had to say it :lmao:

We're going next week and I was sat at work today and had a sudden panic I didn't know where are passports were! Had to rush home at lunchtime to find them :rolleyes1

Also I take an empty drawstring bag which I then pack each day with the things we need for the day.

EHIC card.
Corkscrew and cups/glasses.:yay::love::yay::dance3:

This is where I show my obsessive side -a dictionary/phrasebook! :rolleyes1Yes I know virtually everyone speaks English! I've always taken these abroad even when I used to be fluent in French (and German) there was always a new word I wanted to translate/learn and the habit never died. Before our last trip the children (then 7-11) and I secretly bought extra copies because they all wanted one and I knew my DH would think we were mad (which is probably true to be fair) I'm fairly certain we never used them but then again I probably never used the other 3000 things on my list - I don't travel light LOL! :rotfl2:

haha thanks guys, appreciated!!
have to admit, passports, confirmation etc have been in a plastic wallet for about a month already :rolleyes1

am considering packing the girls stuff this weekend, (not that im excited at all).

am impressed that have thought of (almost) everything on those lists, but there are a few i havent thought of. i know ive said it before, but my goodness im pleased to have found this forum :) xxxx

~Oh I just thought of one that I take for granted....hand gel!! It's the most useful thing in the park as far as i am concerned!! Not only is it great if you can't wash your hands (because of queues or you simply need to refresh your hands) but I also (ok, weirdo moment coming up here) squirt a load on loo paper and wipe the toilet seats over before we use them! And I have also use it when I come off rides that have a sweaty padded lap bar, have you seen those people wipe their noses where they are laughing so much, then touch the bars to hold on tight?????!!!!! :rotfl2: OCD has nothing on me :rotfl:

Joins in the weirdo momenet - I use it on loo seats in other public loos if they don't provide wipes but at DLP I put down 2 or 3 of the paper seat covers that are provided. I think it's even "safer" :thumbsup2

And I'm totally with you on the ride bars **shudders**

haha loving the "laughing then wiping noses" comment.
yep, got hand gel too :yay:
