Many thanks for sharing that, a lesson learnt, I always trusted that I could safely use glasses, tea, coffee cups etc. I have always hid my toothbrush though you never know if housekeeping has the hump that day or we didnt tip them enough, they might use our toothbrush for extra cleaning activities

This was the practice when I worked in a hotel, when at school, as a part time job in the late 80's early 90's, we used to clean the cups in the bathroom sink! Mind you I bet drinking Fairy Liquid is not recommended either, but we wash cutlery and cups etc in it!
