Aloooohaaa! This is my first post here, but I've been reading for quite awhile. My cast of characters includes me, my husband, and our two boys, ages 4.5 and 6. We are a Navy family, living in Hawaii for the past 7 years.
This past Sunday we were discussing how we were going to fit Disney in to a 3 week trip while still seeing both families in FL and CT. Since we live so far away, we try to fit in as much as possible when we get to the mainland. On a whim, we decided why don't we just make a separate trip to Disney? And since hubby is on leave for the 2nd half of May, why don't we just go now?
SO! After only a WEEK of planning, we are leaving May 16th, we'll get there the afternoon of May 17th, and we'll have 8 days in the parks!! This is MY first time, as well as the boys' first time. Hubby has been there once before for a grad night, but he hasn't done the whole shebang before.
We are staying at the All Star Movies, got the dining plan, and I'm going in to ITT to purchase the 8 day park hoppers. We are SO excited, and we haven't told the boys yet. I think we are going to set up a treasure hunt in our neighborhood and make them use the GPS and clues to find it (kind of like Geocaching for anyone else who is into that
)
