Hubby and I haven't been on this yet, but were discussing the backwards feature and we were curious how does the track allow for this? Like do you come back the way you came or does it switch somehow to a different track or maybe curve and go back?

been on lightening lopps at GA(many moons ago, who knows if it is still there) that puts you upside down forward and then back..kind of cool. So, not too worried about going back, just curious how the track does it

Two times in the ride part of the track flips over, the first time when you get to where the track seems like the Yeti ripped it.If you want to see it see if you can sit towards the back and look back when you're being held before it goes back.

The other time is when you enter the room where you see the Yeti's shadow, if you sit near the front you see the track switch. So yes you go back the way you came up until the point the track flips which sends you to another direction.
