EE how bad is the coster

No, I didn't feel that way at all. It's nothing like being upside down. I did find it a bit scary, though, & don't wish to ride again. But that's just me. For reference, I'm fine with Space Mountain & Splash Mountain. I'm just not a fan of huge drops: didn't enjoy Summit Plummet, either.

I feel like I am going backwards, never feel like I am going upside down. You do go upside down on Rock 'N Rollercoaster.

The first time I rode it - very close to when it first opened - I felt unsure during the backward (and pitch dark) part if we had gone upside down. I know now that it doesn't.
For context, I am a huge coaster fan and wasn't upset by the feeling. I thought then - and still - that it was a fantastic coaster.
I recommend trying it if you're up for it!

It just makes your stomach drop for a minute. Really fun coaster. I ride it every trip and I'm prone to motion sickness. Also, if it makes you feel any better, my son rode it at 5 years old.

I've been on the biggest coasters out there 200-400 foot drops without issue and while I have no major problems riding Everest the backwards part does make me a little dizzy,there's no inversion,its basically a backwards helix that has G's and leaves you a bit disoriented.Everything else in the coaster is pretty tame,the drop is no bit deal,overall the ride is a smoother,but slightly more extreme Big Thunder mtn,the backwards helix is what sets it apart as a more extreme coaster,even a forward helix gives you a good amount of G's,with this one being backwards its a stronger sensation.

It's when you go backwards in the dark and go through an upward helix. You get the same feeling of when you're about to go through a loop backwards. That sudden upward feeling of the track, but that's it. It's just the g forces and going up in the helix. After that initial feeling it's nowhere close to feeling like you go upside down.

There's some dark parts and you go backwards for about 15-20 seconds. But it's fun and very tame imo..but I love coasters.

I agree with all of this, and add that I think the scariest part is the Yeti, but that's because I first rode it in 2006 when it actually took a swipe at the car and I keep expecting it to do it again.

I am a wimp when it comes to roller coasters. They scare me to death!!! I only ride coasters at WDW. The outside part of EE scares me a little bit, so I just close my eyes Knowing what the ride was going to do before I got on it was very helpful. I truly enjoy riding the coasters at WDW.

No, I didn't feel like I was going upside down at all. I wasn't a huge fan of being in the dark, but that didn't stop us from riding 6 times in two days.

Loops pretty much are never as bad as people think they're going to be,the loop on flying coasters like Manta at Sea World or Superman Ultimate flight at Six Flags parks are definitely exceptions.In those coasters there's an element known as a "pretzel loop" where you basically are on the inside of the loop in a flying position and as you get closer to reaching the bottom of the loop the amount of G's being in that position puts a pretty significant amount of pressure on your chest literally taking your breath away.I visit Sea World regularly and its a coaster I'll ride once and I'm good,not one I like to reride.Their newest coaster Mako on the other hand is amazing,best coaster in Florida by a long shot,no loops just a bunch of ups and down with tons of air time.Their other coaster Kraken has been closed for about a month as they're retheming it to Kraken Unleashed and adding virtual reality googles to each seat,never been on anything like that so I'm really excited to ride it in about a week or so.RnRc at DHS is not the roughest coaster I've been on,that honor goes to the Manhattan express in Vegas but RnRc is far from a smooth coaster,the head knocking is pretty severe on it.

I love roller coasters including EE, but I do have to say that it is surprisingly intense for a roller coaster than doesn't go upside down. It is definitely more intense than Space Mountain or Thunder Mountain.

I'm not sure. I love Millenium Force at Cedar Point and California Screamin at DL and Rock'n'roller coaster at DHS. But the dip during the backwards part of EE does unpleasant things to my stomach that those don't do.

EE is worth a try but individuals definitely can experience it differently...

I don't like big forward drops, but the backwards one on EE isn't bad at all. It's barely noticeable. What get's me is the backwards part in the cave. There's a bit of a turn and kind of a hump. I usually lose my stomach ever-so-slightly there. It's not bad at all. Then you go forward or stop and see the Yeti projection on the cave wall (Disco Yeti). I actually enjoy EE; whereas, I endure Rock n Roller Coaster and even Space Mountain due to its jerkiness.

I am not a coaster fan, though I've been on many due to my husband's love of coasters. Oddly enough, Expedition Everest does not bother me at all. I absolutely loathe drops but I barely notice them on EE. My stomach does not react to the backwards drop on EE like it does on other coasters with forward drops.

The backwards dropping on EE isn't too bad overall, although it might be a little disorienting if you aren't expecting it. Also if memory serves, there's a loud *chnk* noise right before you go backwards (someone can correct me here, I'm sure). It's all a matter of your own comfort level

Side note: I found the line for EE to be one of the most visually interesting of the coasters. Very cool to explore while waiting

I have felt the upside down feeling when going backwards, but I think it's more of a disoriented feeling, not like I'm hanging upside down. I am a coaster lover and EE is my favorite at WDW. I don't get a "belly jump" feeling on the forward drop; it's not a very high hill IMO. For the record, I don't like Space Mt. (too rough on my neck and back), and RNRC is very short, but I do like it minus the take off. (that gives me a belly jump!) I love Splash and the big drop on that is just right.
