EE at AK....crazy busy?

I am not a big fan of the Extra Magic Hour (or Early Entry, or whatever they're calling it now). But, with AK's hours so short, I thought it might be worth taking advantage of it for that park. Can anyone tell me if the crowds will be bad? We will be there during value season (this week!!), but I know AK usually feels crowded on a good day. How is it on an EE day?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

No, we always do Extra Magic Hour at AK, that way we can see the Safari early when the animals are at their most active.

One word of advice... get to EMH about 30-45 minutes before the gates open, as they only have guests go in about 4 or 6 turnstiles, and it backs up terribly, causing you to miss about 1/2 of the time just waiting to get in, if you get there any later.

We swear by EMH when we are staying onsite, which sadly isn't as often, since we only live 30 minutes away now.
