Went to EE preview Saturday w/DW (chrome64) who'll probably be posting about this later. We took a tip and did Donald's breakfast. We were at the gate at 7:35 am and when they let us in about ten minutes later, we were led up to the ticket gate and actually parked in the grass by the castmembers. We had an 8:20 time but we were seated at 8:00 with the first arriving guests.
We left breakfast at 8:45 and went to the rope drop in Dinoland, at 8:50 they went ahead and dropped the rope. We ran to the old Tarzan area and had to show our DL and Annual passes and ran on through to the que area. Ends up we were the first people there!!!! We got a fastpass, got in line and found out we were first and then had a castmember give us a guided tour through the que line. He pointed out a hidden mickey and told us all about the artifacts. He led us right up to the front for the first ride. It was unreal!!!!!!!!! The most amazing Disney ride, attraction, whatever, ever!! We got off the ride at 9:06 ran over to Dinoland and rode Dinosaur ran to Africa and rode the Safari and ran back for our 9:45 fastpass and walked right back onto EE. We left AK at 10:35ish and were in MK by 11:00. We were able to fastpass BTMRR and ride Splash Mtn. We then walked over to Fantasyland and watched Philharmagic. Fastpassed Peterpan, rode the teacups. Rode the TTA. Ate at Tony's , got my haircut, Fastpassed Space mtn. Rode Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Small World, Snow White, Astro Orbiter, Stitch, Haunted Mansion..........I mean we rode everything. It was amazing, I have never had a day like that ever. We ended up going to Downtown Disney to finish out the night. Unofficial Guide would have been so proud of us. I hope all your days in Disney are amazing as the one we had.

Yippeee!

As auwoo said, we had an awesome day!

Thanks to clkelley for such a great suggestion! We owe our great day to her!

Has anyone heard of any soft openings coming up for the public? I'll be back in the work in a couple of weeks and I can't wait to ride it again!!

We must've been right behind you! We had breakfast, too, and were at the rope drop at DinoLand! We rode Everest twice, the safari, Primevil Whirl and Dinosaur and were at MK by 11:40!

We agree that Everest is way cool! :)

We were the couple in the red Mickey shirts! DH had on his Auburn hat! If you were eating any where near us in Donald's you couldn't miss us! We were so excited!

We were at MK on Saturday, but did EE on Thursday and Friday. The line on Thursday was short all day long. I was surprised they were letting the FL Res. Passholders on, as I hadn't read on the DIS that anyone but AP and DVC holders would be allowed on the ride. Lots of people showed up without picture ID's and were turned away.

It was a good ride, good enough to scare my fearless 8 year old.
