EDIT QUESTION: Apple EVC Size Question

I am looking at getting my mother a ECV for our upcoming trip. I am either going to go with Walker or Apple. Right now Apple is cheaper and easy to get then Walker With Apple they only gave me one style of chair that we could rent because of her weight.

My question is: She would rather have the Go-Go Elite Traveller Plus by Pride Mobility Transportable Scooters

But because she weighs 210 they said that she would need the Pride Victory 10 Super Deluxe Scooter

My question is has anyone rented the Go-Go that weighs around 200 to 210 pounds and how has it worked for you?

I assume that you will be renting the Pride Go Go Elite Traveler Plus? If that is the model, it is rated up to 300 pounds so you should not have a problem.

They are rated at 300 pounds but according to Apple they will not last a full day at the parks they told me 175 pounds will go all day but over that shortens the battery length if you aren't going from open to close it should last

Apple also rents the victory 9 ES which is smaller lighter then the 10 but you have to call them to rent them they are not listed on the website

I would ask Apple what size the batteries are? This model comes with an AH 17 or 18 battery. That should last all day with the described weight. I have the HD model and am in the same weight category. While the HD model should have a bit longer battery life, I can go TWO full days in the park without a charge. I do however, recommend that you charge every night.

I rented the go-go elite last year and I weigh (hating to admit it) about 206. I did have a battery problem the first 2 days- it would run out - but it was a SIGNIFICANT problem, because I wasn't driving the scooter all day. I would park it in the shade and walk for a bit (a bit meaning do all the rides in one fantasy land, then drive to tomorrow land, etc...). I called Apple and they came and replaced the battery morning #3 and the battery life was fine. Same type of usage with day 1 and 2 and I got back to the hotel every night with about 1/3 left on the existing charge. If she's going to drive it all day you might want to know where you can charge it during meal times (lunch or a sit down dinner) just to be on the safe side.
I have knee problems so I actually rented the Victory for our next trip so I would have a bit more room to stretch out my leg, as keeping it in a bent position tends to stiffen it up, and the elite doesn't have any place to "rest" it if I stretch it out. The Victory looks shaped a bit differently- we'll see.....

I have rented the victory last three trips. It is very comfortable and easy to maneuver and the battery lasts all day...in fact one night I forgot to charge it and it last the whole next day too. Apple is great to work with, I just rented for my next trip in 118 dys
