Eden Roc Hotel

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone has recently stayed at the Eden Roc hotel. We are looking at all our options and it seems to have mixed reviews.

I'm pretty sure that our stay was not recent enough to count, (about 6 years ago) but we still refer to that trip as the time we stayed at The Bates Hotel. --Of course, the mixed reviews may be due to them cleaning it up since then. (sorry, not helpful)

Now, when we're trying to be economical, we stay at the Dessert Inn & Suites.

Lol at the Bates part!! OP, I'd stay clear. I've only ever heard negative things. If you're trying to save money, try to book through Priceline.

I'd rather sleep in my car. If you are trying to stay cheap (but still clean and safe) try Anaheim Plaza Hotel. Walkable and cheap.

I've not stayed there, but have stayed across the street at Stovall's many a time...I'll put it this way: I'd never stay there, just based on 1. how run down it looks and, 2. the, uh, colorful characters who hang out in the parking lot. (Yes, I realize that any public place is subject to random people loitering there, but when it happens for the entirety of a weeklong stay, one can only assume that management doesn't do anything to remedy the situation.)

As previous posters have said, I'd rather stay at the Anaheim Plaza or try to score a deal on Priceline.
