Hi! Not sure where to post this so I figured I would start here and then move to the camping board if no one knows the answer.

My DH uses an ECV. I know he can use it all around FW. But will he be able to get on the boat going to MK using it? I really prefer to drive to the parks with the ECV but was hoping to use the boat for MK.

Yep. 99% of the time, the large boat that goes to the Magic Kingdom will be able to handle ECVs. Sometimes, the water levels do not allow it, but we've never experienced that problem.

I've used an ECV at FW in the past and have never had a problem. Don't forget that if you're planning to use the internal bus system that will mean two loading/unloadings before you get to a park. If the nonECV user is fit and up for a walk, depending on the loop you're in, you might be better off hoofing it/ECVing it to the pickup points. The official line on the boats is that it's waterlevel dependent, but I've never seen anyone turned away when we go during the summer. You'll love FW!

First up... There is no sidewalk through the tunnel under the water, so you can't get to MK by ECV. You can get to Wilderness Lodge along the jogging path, and you can get from Contemporary to Magic Kingdom by sidewalk, but the two paths don't connect.

When water levels are insufficient to get an ECV on and off at Magic Kingdom, it might still be possible to go by boat Wilderness Campground to Contemporary then sidewalk from there. (ask at boat dock). Also there will be a bus from Wilderness to either TTC or Magic Kingdom. Disney keeps changing the bus routes around and I don't know which route is being used at the moment.

:rotfl: I should have clarified that I like to put the ECV in the minivan and drive the minivan to the parks.

Thanks for all the advice. Its exactly what I was hoping to hear. :thumbsup2
