My family will be spending 2 weeks in WDW in August and I need some help planning our ADRs and park days. I was wondering if anyone knew which boats at WDW are ECV friendly. Specifically, boats from POR and POFQ to DTD. And Poly to MK and FW to MK.
Thanks!

Was on the boat from Poly to MK a little while ago. It is not ECV friendly. From the Poly you would want to take the monorail or take the path to the TTC and ride the larger boat.

To add some pictures to what the others posted, follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread. Post 8 is about transportation and has some pictures of the different boats in use at WDW.

Even if some boats are ECV friendly, that does not mean all boats on the "route" will be - that was our experience at Wilderness Lodge.

Also, if the weather is poor or the water levels vary, the boats will no longer be wheelchair accessible, so while the boats can be very handy, the only ones I count on to be wheelchair accessible are the ones at Epcot/Hollywood Studios to the Boardwalk area.

That is true.
At WL, in general, every other boat is a large one that can accommodate an ECV. The other ones are much smaller and have a few steps in.
Our experience at WL was that even the larger boats were not necessarily accessible because of water levels. We were able to lift our DD in her wheelchair into the larger boats, but the guests using ECVs did not have that option.

The boats that travel between POR and POFQ and Downtown Disney and the boats that go between OKW and DTD and Saratoga Springs and DTD are all the same. We have never seen an issue with those boats and water levels.

Thanks to everyone for the info. It takes some of the stress out of planning when I know what transportation I can use.
