My mom will be bringing her ECV to WDW when we go. Do people take their ECV to the waterparks? Also, if we are hopping from a park to a waterpark, is there any where she could charge her battery at the waterpark if needed?

Thanks for any information!

We do have people come to the waterparks with ECVs. She will not want to try to ride over any sand; it could damage the ECV.

And I really don't know of many locations within the waterparks where there are electric outlets. However, most ECVs (at least the full-size ones, not the small travel ones) can easily last a full day on one charge.

When we goto the waterpark. We do use the ecv. But in a limited way. The parking lot, bus stop is still a long distance to the entrance, and then a ways to where the slides, pool, lockers, food places are.
Trying to walk all that way, would make it hard to enjoy the park.
We take the key with us, when we park the scooter. The photo pass card, its on a springy thing you can put on your wrist, well, i hooked the key to the scooter into that too.

We tend to use the lazy river to get around. If we are going from where the ecv is parked to the otherside, I will use the ecv. Like at the begining of our water park, we need to get familiar with where things are, since we don't go very often.

I've never attempted to, or will try to maneuver in the sand.
We rent our scooter offsite, and we have never had a problem going all day on a charge, just make sure to charge over night.

Thanks for this. It helps. I just read these post to my mom. She is going to try to use the lazy river to get around. :)
