ECV Taxi question

Hi - I am an ECV user due to a variety of back problems. I can walk, just not long distances. I will be attending the pin event in the Contemporary on 10/1. While I was lucky enough to get into BLT for 9/30, the only "room at the Inn" was OKW for 10/1 & 10/2. I try not to use buses with the ECV when it is crowded as I am normally a nervous wreck getting off/on with crowds. My question is, if I rent a Revo ECV which can be broken down, will the cab person or the valet person be able to take them apart and lift them into the trunk. I would be using the cab after the 10/1 pin event to get back to OKW. I do not have the strength to lift the pieces in/out of the trunk. Obviously I would tip who ever does it well. Thanks, Penny

The answer to this is "Yes, but..."

You will need to know how to disassemble and reassemble the ECV so you can properly supervise. Some of the more experienced valets are used to this, but if you get one who does not, or for the taxi driver (at OKW) you probably will have to give them full directions.

And note that tipping should be higher than usual for the extra work performed.

Do as we do for Dson who is in a wheelchair. When you get to the valet stand request a H/C van taxi. They usually arrive in about 10 minutes or less. This way you will not have to take anything apart. Susan

Poohs Pal - thanks for the tip about the H/C van/taxi. that is good news. I mainly wanted it for after the event to get back to OKW. I am still trying to get into BLT/Beach Club/BW for 10/1 & 10/2.
