My mother-in-law just told my husband that she would like to take us all to Disney next year over kid's spring break (her treat!!!!). Whoo-hoo!!
Anyways, she has really bad knees and is diabetic. We plan to rent a scooter for her offsite. Any recommendations for a reliable company to rent from?
We are also leaning toward POR, where we will need two rooms. I haven't asked her yet, but I'm thinking a handicap accessible room would be more beneficial for her. Easier to get in the shower and stuff, although she has a regular tub shower at home. I'm just wondering since she will have the scooter is an accessible room easier to get it in and out of the room or is everything the same? I also plan to ask for connecting rooms (can you get a connected room to an accessible room??) or for our rooms to be as close together as possible. We don't want her far away from us.
Thanks for any input or suggestions.
