This may be a silly question but when the scooter is delivered to the resort....do you tip the guy delivering it?

Not a silly question.
When we rented an ECV, we did not tip the delivery person.
My guess is that some people will say they did and others will say they did not. If you are renting from one of the companies that deliver to Bell Services, you will probably not see the person from the rental company. If a Bell Service person delivers it to your room, I guess I would tip that person.

We rented from BV Scooters in December. The ECV was delivered to the resort prior to our checking in, and lobby concierge simply took a few seconds to drive it out from behind the counter and into the lobby for us. When we left, we returned the ECV to the lobby concierge and they put it in the back to await pick-up. Not much actual time or effort invovled on the part of the WDW CM, so we did not tip her. We never saw anyone from BV Scooter at all.

I am using Randy's and they bring the scooter to your room, that is why I was asking if I should tip them or if the rental price I paid was enough.

I believe Randy's delivery includes some instruction if needed. I would tip that person .

I rented from Randy's--which I recommend--but did not tip since it was Randy and I guess I was thinking it was like a hair salon where you don't tip the owner. He did give instructions to me though so maybe I should have?

Where is Randys rentals and what kind of instructions do you need with their scooters?

I have heard about the rental at the Boardwalk, what is the name of that company anyone know? We need a scooter that will break down into 3 pieces if possible.

My husband his own scooter, so we need one we can fit in our suburban for me. Our last one was in about 5 pieces. I hear the 3 piece is easier.

Thanks,

Peggy

There is a list of rental agencies and if one is not good they are yanked.

Buena Vista Scooters is the name of the one on the Boardwalk.
FAQs has lots of info on the companies.

That was a report last year.

Randy's is the only one that I know of that has the delivery person deliver right to the person and talk with their client on everything they need to know like breaking down the ECV and operations.
