I need to use an ECV (i.e., scooter) due to a fused ankle for extended distances. At Disney, I typically rent from Apple Scooter and the scooter is waiting for me at Bell Services when we arrive via Magical Express. At Universal, it appears that Walker Mobility is the only approved off-site rental company and I actually need to meet with them to give me the scooter. I didn’t realize this the last time I went to Universal as I tried to have the scooter waiting for me upon arrival just to learn after I arrived that they couldn’t drop off the scooter if I wasn’t there. It then became a hassle the next morning to wait for delivery in person.
Does anyone know if Walker is the only company that can deliver to Universal and whether there is a way to have a scooter just dropped off and waiting for me at Bell Services at the Hard Rock Hotel? I am quite comfortable using a scooter and haven’t run anyone down, nor had any issues getting on or off the buses at Disney.
Thanks.
