Thanks- Im sorry if these questions are duplicates. I am writing for my mom- we finally talked her into renting an ECV for her time at the parks- so this will be a first for all of us. (fingers crossed)We are staying at the Boardwalk and will be going to HS for one day- so I don't think we need the ECV to be able to use Disney Transportation. The only Disney Approved vendor is ScooterBug which rents for a 1 day- has anyone used them before? How are they? Is there anyone else that we could compare? We figured we would pick it up before rope drop and drop it off at the bell services when finished with park touring. Am I out to lunch with this strategy? Thanks in advance!

There has not been a lot of feedback, but the feedback I have seen was positive.

If she would be able to get to the park without having the ECV, you could also look into renting in the park.

I don't know Scooterbug's prices, but an in park rental, as of a few weeks ago, was $50/day. Actually you pay $70 up front, but you get back $20 when you return the scooter. If you go to another park the same day, you'll pay that $20 again (but again, you'll get that back when you return the scooter). I've rented both in-park and from an off-site company. In-park scooters are more comfortable, but slower and a little less maneuverable. Off-site scooters are still fairly comfortable, but they're faster-sometimes it feels a little too responsive. They're more maneuverable around tight turns however.
