ECV Question

What is ECV availability like at Universal? I am planning on being there as close to opening as possible, but am worried about them running out of ECVs if we are delayed by traffic/parking. We are not staying nearby and only need ECV for this one day.

Am I overthinking it?

They had plenty when I went in February
Three in my group used the rented ones in UO
Very reasonable costs

I’ve never rented but be prepared for a long wait to get to the ECV rental locations if you are arriving at the parking garage at a busy time. You can rent a manual wheelchair at the security plaza and then upgrade for an ECV at the park entrances, but otherwise you could be waiting and walking longer than you can handle. Rental locations are visible in the official app. ECVs also can’t be removed from the parks so I’m guessing downgrading to a wheelchair when leaving is also an option.
