ECV Length of stay

I'm hoping to bring my parents on a trip with me this fall. Both of them have issues with walking distances and standing for long periods. In the past, we have rented an ECV for dad for a single day (I lived there so we would only go for a day at a time.) Now that I live further away, we are planning an 8 day stay. How much is an ECV rental now? Is there a length of stay rental (like there is for strollers)? If so, what is the price for that. TIA!

Disney does not have a "length of stay" procedure for ECVs.

However, if you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information, including in Post #2 where people rent ECVs from off-site (which are better and much less expensive than Disney's).

Just agreeing with Cheshire Figment.

If you NEED to have an ECV because you have no one to push a wheelchair, the only way to ensure you will have one is to rent from one of the off-site companies.
WDW did have length of stay ECV rental for a VERY short time. Cheshire Figment would know more about this than I, but my understanding was that they discontinued it because they were not always able to provide ECVs (which people had actually pre-rented).

Thanks for the answers. I had thought about an off-site rental company, but dad doesn't need it all the time and I didn't want to take up ECV space on the bus when it could be used for people who REALLY need it. He just can't walk/stand for a whole day at the parks. I'll give him all his options and see what he thinks. I really appreciate the help and the prompt answers.
