Does anyone have experience, or can direct me to a site, regarding ECV usage in Disney parks in Japan? Japan tours in general?

I haven't been but have been planning a trip for ages - then covid happened and Japan stayed closed for quite some time. I finally decided to wait until I got both knees replaced because - even if I made through the Tokyo Disney parks - at this point I could not handle Tokyo itself. I want to spend at least a week seeing the sights around Tokyo. If the person would need a mobility device outside the parks - it seems very complicated. I think it depends on what the person would want to do overall - and the level of mobility to get through the airport, around the hotel - and then if going outside of the Disney area - taking subways, navigating sidewalks, shops, attractions and the like.

I don't know if you plan to spend any time outside of Tokyo Disney but googling something like "accessible Tokyo" gives lots of links and there are local tour guides that will help plan an accessible day tour of different things according to your interests.

I know people who have traveled to Japan and said it is difficult to get around Japan with a mobility device. But, at least you can rent an ECV. Obviously, if the maximum weight is 220 lb, they are not like the ECVs here in the U.S. Would love to hear a follow-up to your trip to Japan.
