Got some questions......... First of all there will be 6 of us going to DL starting April 2nd and my DH will need an Ecv. He's going to rent his own Ecv and will need it delivered to motel ( Desert Inn ) and picked up, any recommendations? We also will need one that can fit into an Uber/Lyft for Universal day. In DL is there anywhere to charge Ecv if needed, and also Universal? Any idea how to handle non-fast pass rides or any rides for that matter? We plan on getting MP or Fast pass and don't know how that will work for the lines because he has non- weight barring on his foot. Thanks, Candy

Thanks HydroGuy! I looked at that thread and that was helpful. Anyone else know if you can or will need to charge battery at DL or Universal? Also are the Universal lines Ecv accessible? We've never had to deal with anything like this, unfortunately my DH tore his Achilles Tendon and can't put any weight on it!! We don't know how soon they'll get him in for surgery, but hopefully soon and we're only about 5 weeks from our trip! :crazy2: Thanks!

At DL you will need to charge it yourself. Check with your hotel on that.

I can't help with the Universal ECV. I would think hard if you really want to do that. If so, unless someone else has a better idea, it seems you would want to get a different one that day at USH.

I use a ECV and always rent from Dekerts Surgical 714-542-5607. I highly recommend them as they stand behind their quality scooters.

As far as Universal I have gone once with a ECV and I don't remember having any issues in the lines. I don't really remember but I believe the entire park is accessible or they have alternatives like Disney does. It's been a few years since I went there but I didn't experience any issues while visiting this park.

Some hotels off site will charge your ECV for you. I know the CCI will do this. Call your hotel to ask how they deal with this and also to find out if they will take delivery of your ECV or if you have to be there in person.

Thanks for the replies, this is going to be interesting this time, I know it's going to drive my DH crazy not being able to walk! I would love to change our trip to summer, but it's hard for DH to get time off then!
