We are going to the World the week of Christmas.. I use an ECV. I'm wondering if it will be so crowded that week that I won't be able to get around on the ECV?

I am bringing my walker but that doesn't really work for long distance. I can already picture the nightmare at the bus stops but I'm wondering if it will be so crowded that I won't be able to get through? Any thoughts?

Try and go early especially early, extra magic hours at the park if you're resort onsite guests. This is probably the best tip. Work your way to the back of the park before the general public is admitted. This will give you a little breathing room before the general public reaches the back.

I would surround the scooter with your family. Act as a shield for her. With four others you can surround the scooter on all sides. The leader should take the front position to lead the group everywhere. There should be someone in front at all times clearing a path. This helps out on others trying to cut in front of her scooter, as well. Make sure the leader uses ramps when it's necessary to move about. The hub around the castle is the worse. You don't want to jump a curb with a scooter.

If you are using Disney transportation, it may be easier for her to let someone else get the scooter on and off the buses or whatever. This can be hard for everyone and it's my least favorite part. Even on certain rides where you need to park the scooter on the side it might be better to let her go to the ride and someone else park the scooter. The worse is Soarin' in Epcot's Living Land. You need to use an elevator to get to the ride level. This is another time it may be better for someone else to do the scooter. Spending a little time in her shoes will make you realize she needs time to do whatever.

Take breaks with seeing shows and eating. Don't be commando with ride after ride. Allow her to recharge; so, she can fight the crowds better with the scooter.

Thank you for the info. The crowds are really making me nervous. If you hear a bell ringing a lot, it will be me trying to get thru the crowds along with a bunch of angels getting their wings.
