We are considering a BLT Studio for 2 adults, one of which will be utilizing an ECV. The occupant is able to walk around the room but not to an elevator or the bell stand. Is there space to park the ECV in the room? What tips do you have for managing an ECV at BLT Studio or is there really no room and we need to consider alternate accommodations? Are handicap accessible rooms larger?

We stayed at BLT two weeks ago and there were ECVs parked outside the person's room in the hallway. One room had 2 parked out in front of it.

I used a scooter while staying in BLT and used the outlets in the hall for charging. There were others there as well. This happened in VGF as well.

There's a decent amount of space just inside the door where the connecting door is to the 1BR. If you preferred to park it inside the room I think it would fit just fine.

We kept a stroller in our studio room at BLT and kept it parked in this space. It worked perfectly.

Hi.. We stayed in BLT studio OCT 2015. Had rented a bigger sized ECV from Walker Mobility. We found it best to back the scooter into the room, and parked it just inside the front door in the space where the lock off door is. It fit perfectly. It did take a little bit to get good at backing it in!! HOWEVER, husband had thought ahead and brought a really long heavy duty extension cord to charge it. There is not an outlet right by the front door so he ran it along the wall up higher over the closet door and plugged it into the outlet just inside the main sleeping area to the left. You could use the bathroom outlets, but that may be a trip hazard and hang up the sliding B-room door. This set up worked well for us. Good Luck!

oh, and our Studio room was # 8232 (have gotten this same room 3X now) and it is about 25 steps to the elevators.

Smart thinking to bring an extension cord. Thanks for the tips.
