Eco's laundry detergent from Costco?

I just picked this up today while I was at Costco. I usually buy Kirkland brand it says on the package the you get abou 110 loads. The Eco's brand says you can get 210 loads and it's about 1.50 cheaper than Kirkland. Has anyone used this and if so, how do you like it? Thanks!

I'm not familiar with it but I wanted to add that with detergent I've ben told that you rarely need as much as they suggest. I know with the brand I use it says to use '1 per heavy load' well the cap that doubles as a cup has four lines in it. 1 is like only .5" of the cap. I use that and my laundry is nice and clean. I think companies would like it if you used a whole cup each time so you bought more frequently

I never use the recommended amount, always below that. I was just making a price comarison load vs. load. I did a load of wash with it before and it seems pretty good. I thought I would mind the scent, but not so. Clothes also came out softer from the washer which will cut down on dryer sheets/vinegar.

I bought the eco one from Costco about 3 weeks ago and I am happy with it. I've been using the same amount that I used of the regular Kirtland brand (I use less than recommended). It seems to be working well and I like the fact it is clear rather than blue. I figured that if I didn't like it that I could return it for a full refund.

I have been using for at least 2 yrs get it at Costco but think Sams maybe cheaper will check next visit.Noticed lately some of Costcos prices higher than Sams or Bjs.

I got that same giant jug from Costco too. I'm on my 2nd jug and I like it just fine. Seems just as good as any other laundry detergent to me.

I will warn you though that the scent doesn't stick to your clothes, which may be a drawback for some people. I actually really like this fact since I used to buy fragrance free conventional detergent. When I switched to an eco-friendly detergent, I found that their scents don't stick to the clothes. My thought is that the chemical stuff in the conventional detergents is what made the scents stick to the clothes, and with a natural detergent, there are no chemicals to make the scent do that.

The brand is actually Earth Friendly Products, but the jug says ECOS in huge letters - guess it's like....the line or something?

We have been using this brand for over a year. We get it Sam's, but have also seen it at Costco. We have been very happy with it. We also use fabric softner, so that gives our laundry a nice smell. I would like to find an inexpensive eco friendly fabric softner. I have not sen any yet at Sam's and just became members of Costco.

We use this as well, and really like it. The 210 loads is based on using their recommended abount for a HE washer - so using about 1/4 inch or so in their cap. I think you get 105 loads in a conventional washer (about 1/2 in in their cap).

I do pre-treat my stains (having a 3 yr old, we have endless stains) so I can't say how it would work without pre-treating on stains.

I used this brand for a couple of years.

I make my own detergent now, otherwise I would still be using it.

I just bought some Borax as an ingredient to make my own detergent also as I'm about to finish my huge Costco container- I haven't seen the ECO though, but then I don't like the liquid detergents. A little off-topic, but I found an Etsy seller that makes small jersey bags full of lavender that are for the dryer in place of dryer sheets. If you want your clothes to smell fresh and to be nice and soft with no static, I highly recommend them.---Kathy

I love this brand, it's magnolia something scented but does not linger on your clothes. I used to buy the Ecos at Sam's Club (I think around the same price) but it was lavender scented and a bit too strong for me.

I bought it and didn't like it. I thought my whites looked grungy and it didn't get mud etc (softball season) out w/o multiple washings. I was making my own detergent before that and after a soap grating accident bought this and when I finished the jug I went back to making my own. Clothes are so much whiter w/the homemade and I now use the food processor so no more grating accidents!
