Ok who saw the eclipse tonight? Very cold out thought.

I braved the heat and skeeters - saw it, pretty cool! Right now it's actually kinda pink.

I just came in from looking at it. It's all reddish brown.

It is freezing cold outside right now but the moon looks beautiful.

It's warm here in Georgia. I was able to see it until it got to a sliver and then the clouds got in the way.

It is brutally cold out with an air temp of 31 and a wind chill of 23!

We just came in.....it's a bit brisk out tonight. It was awesome.

My DS9 has been working on the solar system in school for a while now and this became a nice compliment to his school work. DS3 is walking around saying that he saw "Mars, the red planet". It doesn't get the idea of it being the moon all covered up.

Certainly worth the time.

Had a good view of it here in Washington... but boy it was chilly outside... so did not stand around too long to look. I opted to go drink some hot tea and then pop outside for another look a little later. Managed to see it in most of the phases that way. It was pretty cool to see that and share it with my DD.

We did 'periodic' viewing of the eclipse because of the cold too. We'd watch it a bit and then go inside and then come out and watch some more. I didn't take any pics of the eclipse but I did take a couple shots of my dh looking through his telescope at the moon. I can't believe I was outside with the camera and it never dawned on me to take a picture of the eclipse. Oh well.

We were out running all over tonight and saw it from 6:30 to 9:00pm, so cool!!! My dd loved seeing and watching the progress of it!
