Eckerd Has Movies 75% OFF

Just in case you want to know and didn't. Eckerds Drugstore has some Disney movies and others clearance down to 75% off. Some of the titles I saw and prices were
Mulan VHS $4.99
Mulan II VHS $4.49
Ella the Enchanted DVD $6.49
Princess Dairys 2 $6.24
Princess Stories 2 can't remember but nothing over $6.24
Princess Party DVD can't remember but nothing over $6.24
The Three Mousekeeters $6.24
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas $6.24
Shrek 2 $6.24

and tons of other. I heard that they had Star Wars but I could find it in my area and other movies not just Disney go check'em out. These make great gifts for your kids as surprises while in WDW, that's what I got my two DD's.

I did not know that Eckerd was getting bought. DH did mention that at a couple of location they kept saying they were cutting hours and they did not know what was going on.

All of our Eckerd's closed down months ago when CVS bought them out in our area. All of the Eckerd merchandise went to our area Big Lots and everything from individual soda cans, to makeup, to holiday decorations went 50% off the Eckerd price.

I got the two princess dvds for DD2 for her birthday, Spongebob, and VHS of Shark Tales, Children's tape (w/Barney, Angelina Ballerina), Barbie Swan Lake, Barbie Fairytopia, and Night Before Xmas (not Disney). My store also had Wiggles Wester & Shrek 2, both of which I already had. They had Bob the Builder, a fairy kingdom type cartoon, Hot Wheels, and probably a bunch I forgot. Most dvds were about 5.50, VHS 2.50-5.50. Definetly worth the trip!

Our first store was really picked over, they only had Freaky Friday and a bunch of no name movies.

But the second store had The Incredibles, Mulan, Spiderman II, and The Haunted Mansion. Thank you again!!

Are they buying all Eckerd's in NC??? I just went to mine here in Charlotte and the store appears to be normal and nothing is discounted, nt even the movies.

I got some of the Barbie movies, Mulan, Mulan II, Brother Bear, The Lord of the Rings Movies (two of them) Two Disney Princess Stories, and a few Tonka Computer games. All were $4.99 or less.
The Eckerd managers said they are not closing but closing the video departments and just getting rid of their stock. Peggie

Hey guys

I finally found the Star Wars boxed set at Eckerd's for $16.05 with tax. I also got Indiana Jones for the same great price. Not to mention I got Mary Poppins for $4.49 on VHS and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on DVD for $2.50. I have saved tons on these movies I will be saving them to distribute throughout the year.

Here in NJ they didn't have movies on sale, but I'm glad I checked because they have DVD-Rs 50% off!! They are very expensive and I'm new to dvd burning so that was great for me. I want to try out some brands and types to see what works on my PC.
