EBTA 2014...Across the Atlantic we go!!!

We keep changing our minds. But it looks as if we really will be sailing with you all!

(I should refrain from ever posting on threads until after our PIF dates since we always seem to be changing what we're doing.)

YEAH !.. update on us: we are settling airfare this weekend..Turkish Air is tempting at $741 round trip..but we will see. My son Geoff when on it and lived to tell about it.. LOL.

Been thinking about Chocolate Tasting ..we could do this in promenade lounge and bring chocolate from "home' ( Ghiradelli from DTD) , wine or champagne from bar or your room..For the official chocolate tasting, there was white, milk and dark chocolate and some caramel, red wine, champagne, scotch and port.

what do you think?? Just eat chocolate and drink what you like??

Anyone else notice how the prices jumped a ton recently? I didn't keep track for awhile there, but I looked and our same room is now about $970 more (that was figuring it with the 20% discount). I'm a bit shocked by that jump. I was wondering if they are filling the boat with displaced folks from the canceled cruise? I don't remember the price changing much for this year's EBTA and I think they did XGT rates at some point on it.

Checked mine after you posted this and mine is up by approx $1700. Without the 20% discount it would be approx $1000 more! They don't have any more CAT 5c available so I cannot get the exact figure. But WOW!

If I don't take into account our 20% discount, ours is also over $1700 more! $1758 more, to be more precise. Wow. I'm really shocked.

Well, the PIF date is in a few months, my guess is that a bunch of rooms will open up and then they'll be stuck with really expensive fares that don't sell well. Then they'll have to do the XGT rates again.

Just my guess.

Champagne Girls -Ladies only - join us to drink Champagne and chat/giggle/have fun! We wear pink ( cause we are "girls"!) pink shirits, pink boa's, pink things in our hair, pink anything! DCL will arrange it for us..and charge us. It will be a charge to your stateroom of about $30. We have an hour for pictures, and to drink and drink some more..Some ladies only go to chat and have fun and not drink ( they wont be charged by DCL), others prefer to drink wine, but most of us are all about tasting champagne. Oh dear, DH says don't cancel cruise yet. We may get to go now. We'll have to fly home sooner than anticipated though. No complaints here!
