EBCI payment question

I have a bill me later account that I have been using to pay for flights. It lets me buy tickets interest free for 6 months. Only problem is, I cannot use it to pay for EBCI. Southwest doesn't allow it for some reason. Can I pay for the flights using my bill me later account, and then go back and add EBCI using a traditional credit/debit card?

My guess would be that you could. We book SW using our cc and do the ECBI at the same time and it is always a separate charge on our cc bill. I would book the flight and then go right back in and book the ECBI so you have it done as early as possible since I don't know if it has anything to do with your boarding pass position.
