Ebbsfleet

Hi All,

We are going on my 11th trip to DLRP in December, however it's my first leaving from Ebbsfleet as we used to have to get the direct train from Ashford. Basically i was wondering what the drill is when leaving from Ebbsfleet. When you go from Ashford you go up the elevator and then queue to go through security where they scan your bags etc, then passport check then you go and sit down there is only 1 shop, very small sells magazines and sweets etc. All tickets are collected from a desk. Then there is announcement to go down to the platform.

So at Ebbsfleet are there any shops??
Where do you get your tickets??
Is everything quite easya nd straightforward?

Ebbsfleet is much smaller than Ashford but i prefer it to be honest.

There is a small cafe nero (take away only) and a tiny shop that sells newspapers and sweets etc.

You can collect tickets from either the desk or the self service machine, i used the desk.

There is an announcement when it is time to head down to the platform and you can use either the lift or the escalator.

It is all very straightforward so don't worry.

Its about a 10-15 minute drive, its the junction past the Bluewater junction
